Make-your-own IZZE, Pomegranate Spritzer

I'm in love with the new IZZE drinks, sparkling juice beverages (similar to Orangina). I am kicking my diet-pop habit, and I figured I should find something else to drink that maybe doesn't have cancer-causing properties! These drinks are really good - they come in flavors like apple, pomegranate, blueberry, grapefruit, clementine, peach, and blackberry. They also have no preservatives or any artificial ingredients, and no sugar added! All natural!

I was at Target the other day and was going to buy some, and when I went to grab a 12-pack, I glanced down at the price. $8.70? For a 12-pack? The cans are only half the size of a Coke can? How can that be, when it's just fruit juice and sparkling water? Then it occurred to me. I could buy fruit juice and sparkling water!

So that's what I did. I got a $.99 bottle of club soda, along with a bottle of POM juice (I tried blueberry-pomegranate). I also bought a 4-pack of clementine IZZEs, on sale for $2.66, for special occasions. I got home, eager, to try my new concoction, and this is how it turned out: Yum!

Pomegranate Spritzer:

Club Soda

Ice

Fill glass with about 1/3 cup of POM juice. Add ice and fill with club soda. Garnish with lemon or lime slice, if desired.
